Together, We RISE!

Now more than ever, it's critically important to provide students with online learning opportunities to continue growing academically, intellectually, and socially through these challenging times.

My 2022 vision for TRC Education is to build an engaging 21st learning center for students to learn essential 21st-century skills demonstrated by sustained excellence in Technology, Robotics, and Coding. By using curated content from leading organizations such as FIRST Robotics, NASA JPL Education, NASA STEM Engagement & Educator Professional Development Collaborative (EPDC), I plan to connect as many students as possible with quality STEAM education. To meet this goal, I aim to inspire students to learn 21st-Century digital age skills through our new digital learning portal called TRC212° and our soon to be launched Tennessee Robotics Center.

I am confident that as students participate in TRC Education, they will gain a better understanding, respect, and appreciation for the rigors and benefits of a quality STEAM educational program. In the coming months, I will continue to harness modern learning design and technology to inspire students to follow their dreams and pursue career goals thus becoming the future science and technology leaders in the 21st-century.

Together, We RISE!

A Persistent Pursuit of Innovation

In Dec of 2018, I completed my Masters of Science in Education at Purdue University specializing in Learning Design and Technology. The portfolio you see below includes my academic competencies, LDT artifacts, and professional Learning Design and Technology achievements.

Today, I currently work full-time as a Digital Learning Design Specialist at WTW. My long-term goals are to build a 21st-century STEAM learning center in my community, providing students with a place to learn about technology, robotics, and coding in a hands-on, project-based learning environment.

Small Steps and Giant Leaps

"Throughout our history, generations of Boilermakers have left their mark. In small steps and giant leaps.

And today, we continue in those footsteps. Because the world still faces tough challenges. The adventure still lies ahead. So we keep learning. We keep going.

We keep going with every tiny epiphany that comes from the thrill of discovery. We keep going with each unexpected realization that uncovers new knowledge and possibility. We keep going because it’s what keeps us going.

Persistent in our pursuit of innovation, again and again and again. We leave nothing untried, nothing untested and nothing undone. It’s why we work harder here. Why we strive to be our best, so we can become the best.

Because we are the instigators of progress. It’s what we live for. And it’s what we’re here for. Always, always, taking the next step, together.

Because every giant leap starts with one small step."

My Unfinished Work

Pursuing a graduate degree is a complex and challenging task, but it is well worth the effort and investment of your time, resources, and money. Every day, I appreciate the value of my Purdue educational experiences, both personally and professionally.

Whatever you choose to do in life, it is possible as long as you never, ever give up on your dreams and you are willing to work hard for them. Don't be afraid to fail. Instead, look for something to learn from your failure and always keep moving forward.

Keep learning and keep moving forward.
