It’s an exciting time to be an Instructional Designer today. The advances in software and technology provide us with unprecedented options for design creativity, learner flexibility, and interaction with the learning content. The pace of technological change organizations and designers face daily can also be very difficult to keep up with and requires new ways of design thinking and ISD project management approaches to better realize the return on investment (ROI) of valuable training dollars.

This brief presentation presents a view of the Agile approach from instructional systems design (ISD) project management to effective strategies for the 21st-century Agile learner and Instructional Designer.
